This survey was created through a collaboration between an occupational therapy student and a professional casino dealer. The goal is to create research that is designed for dealers, by dealers, to help improve the health and longevity of casino dealers.

Repetitive chip handling and cutting: Studying the long-term impact of shuffling, pitching, and chip
Physical Fatigue: Addressing lower back pain and foot stress from prolonged standing.
Mental Endurance: Analyzing the cognitive load of game math and game protection over long shifts.
Occupational therapy research can help the casino industry better understand ergonomic risks, support dealer wellbeing, and improve long-term workplace health.
Occupational therapists study how workplace demands affect the body and mind. Casino dealers face unique ergonomic and cognitive pressures including repetitive wrist motion, prolonged standing, and sustained mental workload. This research aims to better understand these challenges and identify solutions that can support a healthier casino workforce.
